A New Standard: $2 million card arises

Not the $2 million MJ card

For those regular readers of Cardboard Mania (always appreciate the visits by the way), you have seen the two $1 million cards that have been offered on eBay. If you missed the, you can find the quad auto/patch here and the creased Topps card here.

Now, a Michael Jordan card has surfaced with an asking price of $500,000 or Buy-It-Now of $2 million.

The reason: there is an autograph "signed in gold" according to the seller.

But, anyone with any sort of knowledge about trading cards can tell that the signature is simply the same foil that was used on the border.

In fact, it is painfully obvious to a non-card collector.

I did a little research but am unable to figure exactly what this card is to pinpoint the book value of it. If anyone knows, please leave a comment letting me know.

That's not even a licensed card... It's some kind of knockoff promo card. I can't find any information on it either.
