It's not every day that a 500 Home Run club member gets released.
After starting slow and blowing off teammates and reporters after Saturday's game, Thomas and the Blue Jays "mutally agreed" to part ways on Sunday.
However, it doesn't appear that Thomas thinks the agreement was mutual.
“It’s pretty obvious,” Thomas said. “Sixty at-bats isn’t enough to make that decision. I’m angry, I know I can help this team. My career isn’t going to end like this.” ~ Frank Thomas
Matt Stairs and Rod Barajas will split time at the DH spot.
