2005: The Year of Baseball Rookie Cards

For anyone keeping track of baseball's young stars, you may have noticed that 2005 was the year of the star rookie.

Many players who will be in All-Star Games for years to come and some who probably will make the Hall of Fame all were first featured on cardboard in 2005.

Here is a list of such stars:

Not bad. Jay Bruce and Colby Rasmus, two of the top baseball prospects, also have 2005 rookies.

So I would suggest buying any cheap boxes of 2005 cards you can find because you are sure to find some star rookies in there.
