Well, Upper Deck misses a swatch or two every now and then.
With the mass amount of autographs and game-used cards produced today, it only makes sense that a few slip through without getting the sticker auto or jersey swatch attached to the card.
To pull one of these, makes for a unique collectible, but a disappointment at the same time.
On this Varitek, the swatch is supposed to be in the D in the UD, but Upper Deck simply overlooked it.
