Upper Deck and USA Baseball have teamed up for a new box set.
The 69 card box will garner a complete base set which features several players from the National and Junior National baseball teams. Collectors should also expect to find seven autographs and two relics in each box. If you're lucky, you may hit a multi-player autograph or a letterman.
“We are pleased to once again have Upper Deck manufacturing the Box Set as part of our licensing partnership,” said David Perkins, USA Baseball’s Chief Operating Officer. “Since the first Box Set release by Upper Deck in 2002, the product has become one of the hobby’s most anticipated products by both collectors and USA Baseball fans.”
This anticipated release only has 10,000 copies and an SRP of $64.95, but many collectors will be using this set as an investment.
Most collectors can name some superstars that have played on USA Baseball teams. Examples are Mark McGwire, Tino Martinez, Todd Helton, Nomar Garciaparra, Scott Kazmir and Justin Upton.
Who knows which players in this set will come to Big Leagues and shine. Heck, maybe this Paramore guy will be the one. Only time will tell.
