I thought it would be good to feature a new type of card today.
While Dan Uggla has nothing newsworthy about him right now, this was the best example picture I could find of a printing plate.
Printing plates are produced for every card, but they aren't always released in packs. Basically a printing plate is the actual metal plate used to print all of the cards. The fronts and backs both come in four different colors: cyan, yellow, magenta, and black.
These also can have autographs or relic pieces in them which enhance their value.
A common printing plate can be had for around $10-$15 on eBay so it is probably the cheapest way to acquire a 1/1 card.
