I find it hard to believe that these players have the time to sign upwards of 4,000 cards.

Your story makes it sound like Donruss just sent these cards out to the players and left it up to them to decide if they were going to sign them or if they were going to have whomever to sign the cards for them.

Let me know what you think, or if you have any information that would debunk my theory.

- Ryanroddsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03901360046253476685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2593587840524167914.post-18991084132978845292009-11-18T07:28:53.840-08:002009-11-18T07:28:53.840-08:00There's 5 of these "1|1"'s sold\...There's 5 of these "1|1"'s sold\being sold on eBay! I called Topps this morning about the situation and they claim it’s not a 1|1 card but a 1|1 ticket inside the card. I found out through research that this isn't even a seat ticket, its a beverage ticket. Which were overproduced and are available on eBay for $.99, and originally came with unique numbers on them, however, Topps has cut this section of the ticket off. Making all of these tickets and cards the same, and definitely NOT 1 of 1.JBigFishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02309065858945756050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2593587840524167914.post-62355574979045246692009-11-18T04:47:46.635-08:002009-11-18T04:47:46.635-08:001 of 1 my a*s! With stars like Brady, AP, Lebron and Kobe, you pretty much know what to expect from their cards selling on eBay. But with someone like Jacobs (and like the basketball player I collect), prices ebb and flow, sometimes with no discernible reason. Sometimes another individual has a hankerin' for a particular card and goes nutty.

Good pickups on those four Jacobs.

Now, a few items you've come to expect from me:
"It's likely to get a few more names this year as Tim Hiller, Dan LeFevour and Tyler Sheehan are all graduating from the MAC and have decent shots of going pro. And it's very unlikely all four of them are like Ben Roethlisberger." You only mention three quarterbacks there other than Big Ben.

"Today, it's generally between 25-25..." 25-50 do you mean? 10-25?

"... and I have over half of those."
